Erik S. Reinert is a Norwegian economist, Professor of Technology Governance and Development Strategies at Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia and heads The Other Canon Foundation in Norway. He holds MBA from Harvard Business School and Ph. D. in economics and philosophy from Cornell University.

The World Economic Forum named his bestselling book “How rich countries got rich…and why poor countries stay poor” as one of the top 100 the most influential economic book for the last 100 years.

Moderator:

Viktor Halasiuk is a Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship, President of the Ukrainian Association for the Club of Rome, Ph.D.

Last year was dominated by unexpected economic and political events for all of us. Nonsense and chaos or strategy and planning?
